Memphis, TN – The body of Lorenzen Wright, who had been missing since last week, has been found by law enforcement officials. According to The Commercial Appeal, the body of Wright, a former Memphis basketball star and NBA player, was found in a wooded area in southeast Memphis. The paper cited a law enforcement source, who confirmed the body was Wright's. The paper reports Wright was last seen around 2 a.m. on July 19, leaving his ex-wife's home. The report also said the Memphis Police Department will not officially comment, while police have referred to it as a death investigation. Wright starred for two seasons in the mid-1990s before entering the NBA as the seventh overall selection in the 1996 draft. Wright, 34, played for 13 seasons with the Clippers, Hawks, Grizzlies, Kings and Cavaliers.
