Devils avoid arbitration with Fraser
Newark, NJ – The New Jersey Devils have avoided arbitration with defenseman Mark Fraser and signed him to a one-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed. Fraser had three goals and three assists in 61 games for the Devils last season in his first full NHL campaign. The native of Ottawa, who will turn 24 at the start of the upcoming season, also appeared in seven games without a point for New Jersey during the 2006-07 campaign.
